JEDEC Elects HP Representative to Join Board of Directors

Arlington, VA – March 28, 2007 – JEDEC Board of Directors today announced its decision to elect Belal Gharaibeh, corporate procurement engineer at HP, to serve as representative on its board.

"I am extremely pleased to have an individual with Belal's background and expertise on the JEDEC Board of Directors," commented Mian Quddus, JEDEC's Chairman of the Board. "His experience at HP providing guidance to design and service teams worldwide will help in our efforts to drive global standards."

Gharaibeh provides technical guidance to design and service teams worldwide. Prior to joining HP, he was program and quality manager at Jabil Global Services in Memphis, TN, working through ISO site certification and managing technical teams supporting computing and networking accounts. Gharaibeh holds a bachelor of science in computer engineering technology from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS, as well as a master of science in engineering management from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN.
