Documents are frequently issued by the JEDEC Staff, the JEDEC Board of Directors (BoD), and the JEDEC Committees. It would be highly beneficial for all to use a uniform file-naming convention that would identify these documents by type, source, item or ballot number, date, and format of each file issued. The BoD Software Task Group has developed the file-designation system described below, in response to this need. These committees are assigned either service or product responsibilities.
