DICTIONARY OF TERMS FOR SOLID-STATE TECHNOLOGY, 7th Edition |
JESD88F | Feb 2018 |
This reference for technical writers and educators, manufacturers, and buyers and users of discrete solid state devices is now available. It should aid the technical committees of JEDEC in the avoidance of multiple definitions and reduce the proliferation of redundant definitions. The long-term goal is to include definitions from all JEDEC publications and standards. Each of the approximately two thousand entries is referenced to its source publication, and an annex listing the names of the source publications and their releases dates is included. All entries were reviewed for punctuation, grammar, and clarity, as well as accuracy, and reworded if such was considered warranted. The purpose of this dictionary is to promote the uniform use of terms, definitions, abbreviations, and symbols throughout the solid state industry Committee(s): JC-10 Free download. TERMS, DEFINITIONS, AND LETTER SYMBOLS FOR MICROELECTRONIC DEVICES: |
JESD99C | Dec 2012 |
This standard will be useful to users, manufacturers, educators, technical writers, and others interested in the characterization, nomenclature, and classification of microelectronics devices. There are general guidelines for both letter symbols and abbreviations applicable to all integrated circuits, and detailed sections for digital ICs, linear (analog) ICs, interface ICs (including D/A and A/D converters), voltage regulators, charge-transfer devices. The standard lists and defines more than 400 of the most common physical and electrical terms applicable to these devices and shows the industry-standard symbol and abbreviations that have been established for such terms. TERMS, DEFINITIONS, AND LETTER SYMBOLS FOR DISCRETE SEMICONDUCTOR AND OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICES |
JESD77D | Aug 2012 |
A revised and significantly expanded reference for technical writers and educators, manufacturers, buyers and users of discrete semiconductor and optoelectronic devices, is now available. This document includes extensive information on: letter symbol conventions; diodes and rectifiers (including signal, rectifier, microwave, tunnel and backward, voltage-regulator, voltage-reference, current regulator, and varactor diodes); transistors (including FETs, JFETs, and IGBTs); photosensitive devices, photoemitters, and optocouplers; thyristors and PUTs; and transient voltage suppressors. Terms and symbols, with their definitions, are arranged alphabetically by product type. Where applicable, graphical symbols are also included. The purpose of this standard is to promote the uniform use of symbols, abbreviations, terms, and definitions throughout the semiconductor industry. Committee(s): JC-10 Free download. STYLE MANUAL FOR STANDARDS AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS OF JEDEC |
JM7.01 | Jul 2010 |
This Style Manual, once known as EP-7-B, has been changed to reflect the JEDEC Solid State Technology Association and is used and updated by JEDEC. This style manual establishes requirements for the preparation of standards and certain other publications of the JEDEC Solid State Technology Association (JEDEC). These requirements are intended to ensure that such documents are presented in as uniform a manner as practicable, irrespective of the technical Committee(s): JC-10 Free download. REFERENCE GUIDE TO LETTER SYMBOLS FOR SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES: |
JEP104C.01 | May 2003 |
This publication provides a quick reference to the letter symbols and corresponding terms that are defined in JESD77-B, Terms, Definitions, and Letter Symbols for Discrete Semiconductor and Optoelectronic Devices; JESD99-A, Terms, Definitions, and Letter Symbols for Microelectronic Devices, and JESD100-B, Terms, Definitions, and Letter Symbols for Microcomputers, Microprocessors, and Memory Integrated Circuits. It is intended to simplify interpretation of data sheets and specifications and to promote the uniform use of these symbols. The symbols relate to ratings and characteristics found in data sheets and other specifications. Some abbreviations used in lieu of symbols are also included. The newly added Annex B is provided as an aid to determining what symbol should be used and is organized by term, whereas the main body of the publication is organized by symbol or abbreviation as in previous versions. This version contains minor revisions Committee(s): JC-10 Free download. Registration or login required. |
