JEDEC To Host Flash Memory Event at 2010 International CES®

Industry Leaders Define the Future of Flash Memory in Consumer Products

JEDEC Solid State Technology Association, the global leader in the development of standards for the microelectronics industry, presents “Storage Solutions: Flash Memory in Consumer Products” at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show.

Flash offers low-cost, high-performance, reliable storage solutions for countless consumer devices and computing products, from Smartphones to digital cameras to netbooks.  Speakers from Agilent, Avant, Cypress Semiconductor, FormFactor, Intel, Qualcomm, RIM, Samsung, SandForce, Seagate and Spansion will highlight how technological advancements and upcoming standards for flash memory, including flash cards and solid state drives, will impact future consumer electronics devices.

The event will offer a special focus on the emerging solid state drive (SSD) market, including the latest updates on the much-anticipated SSD standards currently in development in JEDEC.
