Building on the success of its 2012 and 2013 Mobile Forum events held in the US, Taiwan and Korea, JEDEC is pleased to announce plans to host this popular event series once again in 2014. New this year will be the addition of an LPDDR4 Workshop held concurrently with the Mobile Forums in Korea and Taiwan, and on 9/23 in Santa Clara.
The Forum will focus on the latest developments and standards for mobile storage technology, including LPDDR4 and Wide I/O 2, as well as the mobile devices that utilize these standards, including smartphones, ultra-thin notebooks, and tablets. The LPDDR4 Workshop will offer an in-depth look at the upcoming LPDDR4 standard, which is being designed to satisfy the performance and memory density demands of the latest generation of mobile devices.
There was enough breadth and depth to keep everyone happy. Good emphasis on comparison between LPDDR2 or DDR3 and LPDDR3."
