It was noted in the last JC-22 Meetings that the following submissions to the JEDEC Board were approved and subsequently published.  These included EIA-282B on "Silicon Rectifier Diodes" from JC-22.2, JESD286-B on "Standard for Measuring Forward Switching Characteristics of Semiconductor Diodes" from JC-22.4, and JESD66 on "Transient Voltage Suppressor Standard for Thyristor Surge Protective Device Rating Verification and Characteristic Testing" from JC-22.5.
   
Further work is continuing in JC-22.5 for registration data formats (RDFs) for Thyristor Surge Protective Devices as well as a Transient Voltage Suppressor Standard for Avalanche Breakdown Diode (ABD) Rating Verification and Characteristic Testing.

With the retirement of Fred Blatt, a new Chairman for both the JC-22 Committee and JC-22.2 Subcommittee were voted upon and Kent Walters was unanimously approved to serve in both capacities.  Also Peter Haxton of Compensated Devices Incorporated was similarly approved to replace Kent Walters as Chairman of the
JC-22.4 Subcommittee.
